•Event Guidelines
When you’re ready to hold an event to benefit KHK, the following are procedures for designating and publicizing Kids Helping Kids as charity of choice and beneficiary of the proceeds. If you plan to hold a raffle, please be advised that certain states have guidelines and rules and require special licenses. It is your responsibility to obtain this information and any license and/or approvals needed.
These rules may sound like a hassle, but we all have to follow them.
You are also responsible for any permits, applications, insurance or certificates that you may need for the event.

If your guests ask for a receipt for tax purposes, that figure is the amount that is tax deductible. That tax-deductible figure is arrived at by taking the market value of the event (say you would normally pay $25 for a ticket) and subtracting that from what they’ve actually paid (say $60). That’s your tax deductible amount ($35).
Kids Helping Kids doesn’t have volunteers to provide you, sorry. Neither do we have readily available means to assist in providing “seed” money or providing individualized “thank you letters.” We also do not endorse products.
If you have any questions, please all 973.783.0697
I understand and agree to these terms.
